Patricia Walden Scholarship Fund
Our scholarship program is named in honor of Patricia Walden, New England’s senior teacher and dedicated disciple of B.K.S. Iyengar.
The program provides financial assistance to encourage yoga practitioners with financial needs from New England to experience the art, science and philosophy of Yoga according to the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar.
Our program is funded by donations to IYANE. Tax-deductible contributions are greatly appreciated. Our EIN is 27-1220723.
What are scholarships awarded for?
Scholarships are awarded for study within and outside of New England.
• Study within New England: Scholarships are granted through a collaboration between IYANE and New England Certified Iyengar Yoga Teachers and Studios.
• Study outside of New England: IYANE grants scholarships for conventions and workshops throughout the US and internationally, including at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute in Pune India.
Who’s eligible?
Students of Iyengar yoga for whom financial assistance is needed to enable them to participate in classes or in a specific program as they study and grow as Iyengar practitioners.

The Internal Revenue Service recognizes the Iyengar Yoga Association of New England as a Section 501(c)(3) public charity. Gifts to the IYANE scholarship fund are tax deductible in the U.S.A.
